New area sales manager joins international sales team

• Ralf Ottilie has joined HERMA’s Self-adhesive Materials Division in early 2018, taking over responsibility for the sales areas UK, Middle East, and parts of Eastern Europe.

• He brings extensive experience in the paper and printing industry to his new job.

 

HERMA’s Self-adhesive Materials Division has recruited a new member of the sales team, continuing on an expansion course that has paid off over the last years. Not least due to a long-term internationalization strategy, the division has again managed to exceed the positive market development. Ralf Ottilie, who has joined HERMA in early 2018, manages international customer accounts and brings extensive experience in the field to his new job. After obtaining his degree in business administration from Nuertingen-Geislingen University, the 39-year-old first worked as a sales manager for a tool manufacturer for six years, followed by three years as a business development manager and three years as a product manager. These jobs included a lot of international travel – in China, South-East Asia, and Europe. “I first got to know HERMA as a customer of my first employer and was very impressed by the company when I first visited their headquarters in Filderstadt”, says Ottilie. “I am looking forward to supporting the HERMA Self-adhesive Materials sales team with my skills.”

Harald Wallner, head of international sales at HERMA Self-adhesive Materials, is delighted to have the experienced specialist on his team. “Our growth course means that we need more and more sales staff.
