Application and use
Adhesive 42N is suitable for applications requiring medium tack combined with good removability. It is particularly suited for labelling surfaces like cardboard, PE-Films and steel. Removability may be impaired if applied on certain surface coated materials.
Adhesive 42N features excellent resistance to light, heat and ageing.
Processing
Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.
Storage conditions and shelf life
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
Regulations concerning contact with food
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 42N can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. (Declaration of no objection valid until 15.09.2024)
