The adhesive 65Tpc specially is developed for applications where very high Tack even under critical conditions is necessary.
Thanks to its extremely high tack adhesive 65Tpc is particularly suitable for labelling rubber products, rough PE-containers, wood-based materials and very rough cardboard.
In spite of its high coat weight this newly designed adhesive offers excellent die-cutting characteristics. Adhesive 65Tpc is particularly resistant to light, heat and ageing.
Combined with HERMA PP white extra tc (880) adhesive 65Tpc corresponds to BS 5609 Section Two (resistance to sea water).
Processing
Very good die-cutting characteristics on all usual machines.
Storage conditions and shelf life
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided. The shelf life is 1 year from date of production.
Regulations concerning contact with food
All ingredients of adhesive 65Tpc comply with recommendation FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 65Tpc can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry and moist non-fatty foodstuffs, as far as the ratio of the contact area of the label related to the total weight of the foodstuffs does not exceed 1 d²/kg. Furthermore, the adhesive may be used for laminating plastic films. In this case, cut edge contact with food is harmless as far as the above mentioned adhesive is concerned. It must be ensured that the relevant migration limits are complied with by the laminated packaging (Declaration of no objection valid until 11.05.2024).
