Application and use
HERMA PP Paperprint combines the high print quality of coated paper with the durability of PP films. With HERMA PP Paperprint an excellent print quality can be achieved in all traditional printing methods such as flexo, letterpress, gravure and offset printing. Furthermore the film is perfectly suited for subsequent inscription with matrix or thermal transfer printers using resin or resin/wax ribbons. Before printing it is recommended to freshen up the corona pretreatment.
HERMA PP Paperprint features high weather and UV-resistance and is thus perfectly suited for outdoor applications.
It is recommended to convert HERMA PP Paperprint within one year from date of production.
In combination with our UV acrylic adhesive 63B the film complies with BS 5609/II (resistance to sea water) and is thus also suitable for labelling containers destined for transportation via sea route.
